Chiunque abbia mai messo piede negli Usa almeno una volta non può non aver assaggiato i mitici cioccolati Hershey che sono prodotti proprio qui, in questa cittadina della Pennsylvania che, nasce e muore con il... Cioccolato. Vi basterà visitare il bellissimo Hershey's Chocolate World e l'immenso Hershey Park (il più bel parco divertimenti dell'East Coast) per capire che non c'è nessun altro luogo al mondo come Hershey, il cui slogan non a caso è "The Sweetest Place on Earth".

Anyone who has ever step foot in the U.S. must have fallen at least once in the legendary Hershey chocolates that are made right here, in this Pennsylvania town that is made of.. Chocolate. You jiust have to visit the beautiful Hershey's Chocolate World and the huge Hersheypark (the most beautiful amusement park on the East Coast) to realize that there is no other place in the world like Hershey, whose slogan not surprisingly is "The Sweetest Place on Earth."

Con Lancaster e la Amish County ad un tiro di schioppo (la grande attrazione per chi effettua escursioni di un giorno da New York City), spesso ci si dimentica di Hershey che invece saprà regalarvi una giornata di spensieratezza e divertimento. E, quando si parla di Hershey, il riferimento è ovviamente al cioccolato che è il simbolo dell'intera città. E se non avete modo di visitare lo shop a Las Vegas (all'interno del "New York, New York"), questa è davvero l'occasione da non perdere per entrare a stretto contatto con la storia ed il futuro del mondo Hershey's. Ad ogni angolo della città troverete un riferimento a questa squisita prelibatezza, ma è all'Hershey's Chocolate World che potrete sfogare le vostre voglie di cioccolato come in nessun altro posto.
HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD, A WORLD... OF CHOCOLATE!
With Lancaster and the Amish County just a stone's throw away (this is the main attraction for day-trippers from New York City), we often forget about Hershey, which can definitely offers you a day of carefree fun. And, when we talk about Hershey, the reference is of course to the chocolate that is the symbol of the whole town. And if you don't have a chance to visit the shop in Las Vegas (inside the "New York, New York"), this is really the chance you shouldn't miss to get up close and personal with the history and future of the Hershey's world. On every corner of the city, visitors there's a reference to this exquisite delicacy, but it is at Hershey's Chocolate World that visitors will be able to indulge their chocolate cravings like nowhere else.
L'ingresso a questo a museo-negozio è gratuito (dovrete pagare il parcheggio, che è lo stesso dell'Hershey Park di cui parlerò più avanti), ma alcune attrazioni sono a pagamento. All'interno di questo enorme negozio troverete tutti, ma proprio tutti, i prodotti Hershey's, ma sarà anche l'occasione per imparare molto di più sul mondo Hershey's, rendendo la vostra esperienza davvero interattiva. Il consiglio è di cominciare l'avventura nel "mondo Hershey's" con l'Hershey's Chocolate Tour (gratuito): salite a bordo di una noce di coco ed avventuratevi in questa bellissima "dark ride" in cui potrete ammirare una simulazione del processo produttivo del cioccolato, sentendovi per qualche minuto dei veri dipendenti dell'azienda Hershey's.
Admission to this museum-store is free (there's a fee for the parking, which is the same as Hershey Park, which I will talk about later), but some attractions are chargeable. Inside this huge store visitors there's everything, but really all, Hershey's products, but also the opportunity to learn a lot more about the world of Hershey's, making your experience truly interactive. The advice is to start your adventure in the "world of Hershey's" with the Hershey's Chocolate Tour (free of charge): hop aboard a coco nut and venture on this beautiful dark ride where you will see a simulation of the chocolate production process, feeling for a few minutes like real employees of the Hershey's company.
Una volta terminata la corsa, dirigetevi verso il "Create-Your-Own Candy Bar" che, come si evince dal nome, potrete creare da zero la vostra barretta dall'inizio alla fine, fino all'impacchettamento. La terza attrazione è l'Hershey's Great Chocolate Factory Mistery in 4D, uno spettacolo interattivo con i personaggi dei prodotti Hershey, mentre l'ultima è il nuovissimo Hershey's Unwrapped, uno spettacolo teatrale di 30 minuti che si svolge alla "Hershey Academy". E, se non ne avete abbastanza, salite a bordo dell'Hershey Trolley Works, un piccolo pulmino che conduce i visitatori per le vie della città di Hershey, in una sorta di tour del cioccolato della durata di 60 minuti.
Once the ride is over, head to the "Create-Your-Own Candy Bar," which, as the name implies, you can create your own candy bar, from start to finish, right down to the wrapping. The third attraction is the Hershey's Great Chocolate Factory Mystery in 4D, an interactive show featuring characters from Hershey's products, while the last is the brand new Hershey's Unwrapped, a 30-minute theatrical show that takes place at "Hershey Academy." And, if you can't get enough, hop aboard the Hershey Trolley Works, a small bus that takes visitors through the streets of Hershey City on a 60-minute chocolate tour.
HERSHEYPARK - IL PIU' BEL PARCO DIVERTIMENTI DELL'EAST COAST
Una volta usciti dall'Hershey's Chocolate World, vi basterà percorrere qualche metro per entrare in un mondo di divertimenti con pochissimi eguali nel resto degli Stati Uniti. Sto parlando ovviamente di Hersheypark, indubbiamente il più grande parco divertimenti di tutto lo stato della Pennsylvania (è il più grande parco a tema degli Usa, esclusi quelli presenti in California e Florida) e tra i più belli, se non il più bello, dell'intera costa est degli Usa e capace di vincere negli anni numerosi premi tra cui l'Applause Award. Il parco, che aprì le sue porte nel lontano 1923 offrendo una delle prime montagne russe del paese, il Wild Cat, è il luogo perfetto se state cercando un "Amusement Park" che offra in un colpo solo giostre, scivoli d'acqua (Boardwalk at Hersheypark), piscine ed anche un zoo, lo "ZooAmerica". Sono quasi 3 milioni e mezzo ogni anno i visitatori che prendono d'assalto questo incredibile parco divertimenti, il cui tema è ovviamente sempre il cioccolato (e non potrebbe essere altrimenti).
HERSHEYPARK - THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AMUSEMENT PARK ON THE EAST COAST
Once you leave Hershey's Chocolate World, you just have to walk a few meters to enter an amusement park with very few equals in the rest of the United States. I am talking about Hersheypark, undoubtedly the largest amusement park in the entire state of Pennsylvania (it is the largest theme park in the U.S., excluding those in California and Florida) and among the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, on the entire east coast of the U.S. and capable of winning numerous awards over the years including the Applause Award. The park, which opened its doors back in 1923 offering one of the country's first roller coasters, the Wild Cat, is the perfect place if you are looking for an amusement park that offers roller coasters, water slides (the Boardwalk at Hersheypark), swimming pools and even a zoo, the "ZooAmerica," in one fell swoop. Nearly 3.5 million visitors each year storm this incredible amusement park, whose theme is of course always chocolate (and it couldn't be otherwise).
